Ep. 3-All the Gear!

I haven't always been into ice hockey, in fact, it's a relatively new interest of mine.  In this episode, I talk about gear, the challenges in acquiring it and some ideas for making it easier.  

The general gear list I was given included:  Helmet w/cage, Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads, Gloves, Pelvis Protector, Pants, Under Garments, Shin Pads, Skates, Skate Socks, Hockey Socks, Stick, Jersey(s)-1 light/1 dark, Equipment Bag, White/Black cloth tape for stick, Clear Shin Pad Tape.  

I am based out of the Coachella Valley, in the desert of Southern California.  My introduction to hockey came from the American Hockey League (AHL) team, the Coachella Valley Firebirds.  The Firebirds are the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's (NHL's) Seattle Kraken.
